Part of this album was recorded in David Thompson's house in the spring/summer of 2007. The other part was recorded just down the street in a studio that David rented, it was called "Piranha Studios".
We had grown a little more comfortable with our musicianship and songwriting at this time, but still chose to record without a click. We were really proud of this EP at the time, and I hope our ambitions show through.
We had a lot of friends in the studio with us through out recording and many of them ended up on the end result in one way or another. David Curtis sang on the end of the song "Innkeeper".Wes Romack wrote and read the poem at the end of "Independence Day". Countless other friends ended up doing gang vocals during the various shouty parts. It was fun and we were young.
Alliswell at this time consisted of Dane Johns, Chris Goode, Eric Stanley and Andrew Durfee.
