You know the Tupac song "Against All Odds" where he says the line, "This is the realist sh*t I ever wrote"? Well whether you do or don't know the song, that's how I feel about the only alliswell full length "So It Goes".

The recording spanned the fall/winter/spring of 2007 and 2008, and saw the only lineup change the band ever had. Westley Wieland joined the band on vocals and guitar after Eric Stanley left the band (we're still friends, but it was weird for a bit). Wes brought a lot of intensity to the music and helped usher in a new direction for the band as a whole. Wes was the limb we never knew we were missing. The result is "So It Goes" an album dealing with loss and looking for hope.

We did two unsuccessful tours under this album, unsuccessful in the sense we lost money, but definitely successful in the fun category. We became a band of brothers with this album.

It was recorded at Piranha Studios by David Thompson. A lot of friends appear at points throughout the record, and were present in the studio during recording.

Alliswell is Dane Johns, Chris Goode, Wes Wieland, and Durf.
